Partner with the best

As Cloud Support Engineer at Akamai Technologies, you will be responsible for leading the mission-critical, technical service and support for the global online customers. You will be responsible for improving processes, optimizing operations, and continuously improving the metrics which reflect an industry-leading support experience.

You will be responsible for:

• Working as a trusted support partner to resolve customer questions and issues
• Leading technical investigations across Akamai's Distributed Network. Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams
• Providing technical support, analyzing existing technical issues across Akamai's Distributed Networks, proposing solutions to prevent issues recurring
• Using knowledge and experience to improve internal tools and developing into a Subject Matter Expert

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field
• Have experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers
• Have good knowledge of common network protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS and relevant troubleshooting tools
• Have experience with Linux specifically in Bash/Shell command line environment covering application logs
• Have experience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Be fluent in German and English
