Job Description
Harris Williams is currently seeking an Associate to join the firm’s Consumer industry group in the Frankfurt office. In addition to a solid academic track record, the ideal candidate will possess well-developed written and oral communication skills, as well as a strong knowledge of finance and accounting. Applicants should also demonstrate a genuine desire to learn and join a dynamic and entrepreneurial company and be challenged on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Must have 3+ years’ experience in a similar investment banking environment
- Must have sell-side M&A advisory experience
- Consumer industry experience/knowledge preferred but not required
- German and English conversational and written language skills required
Associates at Harris Williams play an integral role in all the firm’s merger and acquisition advisory activities. Associates learn the deal process through live transaction work alongside seasoned banking professionals and are active contributors during every phase of the deal process. As an Associate, you have a high level of exposure to clients, represent the firm throughout the entire deal process, and cultivate a well-rounded skillset as an M&A expert.
Along with your teammates, you will create major deal process deliverables, including:
- Pitch Materials
- Valuation Analysis
- Confidential Information Memorandum
- Management Presentation
Outside of deal execution responsibilities, Associates assist with various internal initiatives, including:
- Recruiting activities, including interviews and campus events
- Participating in marketing teams
