You’ll be part of a Fixed Income team, working on distribution of credit products, with an ambition to grow our institutional European franchise and client footprint. You'll work closely with our European and UK Heads of Sales and Trading to develop the European client base.

Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets Wertpapierhandelsbank (LBCMW), located in Frankfurt (Germany), conducts Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM)’s and LBCMW’s fixed income business with our clients based in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets is the non-ring-fenced bank of Lloyds Banking Group (LBG), who offers a range of banking and investment products to retail and professional clients across locations in the UK, Germany, the Islands (Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man) and the US.
LBCMW’s Credit Sales team are currently looking for a new colleague, based in Frankfurt, to join their France, Belgium and Luxembourg Sales desk. LBCMW Credit Sales covers distribution and secondary trading of credit products with our clients in the EEA and Switzerland. It is part of the wider LBCM Capital Markets business and works closely with other Lloyds Banking Group (“LBG”) and LBCM teams to distribute and trade bonds (both unsecured and secured). LBCMW is an integral and crucial part of LBCM Capital Markets’ growth strategy.
You’ll be responsible for analysing market trends and developments as well as client flows and strategies to increase our expertise in primary and secondary markets. In order to help and support our primary syndicate desk and secondary trading desk you provide colour from your investor base and help with the recycling of risk in order to increase the turnover in our trading book. Monitoring the bond and wider market environment to identify market opportunities and solutions for investors is key.
You’ll be liaising with team members and the client coverage function along with other teams in the UK & US Capital Markets business, specifically Credit Sales & Trading, FI DCM & Securitised Products Group, Syndicate and Corporate Financing & Risk Management to identify opportunities for Lloyds.
What you’ll need:
Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, you will possess some Fixed Income Sales experience with French institutional clients, along with having strong communication and analytical skills coupled with a collaborative approach to client delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders for core clients, seen as the ‘point person’ for relationship at this level. Provide recommendations with regard to execution of new business/maintenance of existing business.
Strong organisational skills are essential for this role as well as the ability to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables in a timely and effective manner; work under pressure in a deal environment, have excellent stakeholder management skills and should be familiar with Bloomberg and proficient in Excel.
