Purpose of Role:
In this role, you will learn the processes from start to finish on how to manufacture industrial hoses from 50mm up to 700mm in diameter and as long as 10m in length. These hoses are used in various mining applications across Australia and worldwide.
From learning the products used to make the hoses, to building the hoses, which fittings to add, right through to the completed product ready to send out to our clients. A role that you can at the end of the day say – “I made that”.

Great starting rate into manufacturing

$67,044.26 base salary or $33.89 per hour plus 12% superannuation

Day & Afternoon shifts, 8-10hr shifts

Overtime available and flexibility on hours

4 weeks annual leave

Option to complete Cert I in Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Building hoses to the required specifications, in a safe and timely manner.

Correct selection of materials to carry out work, including mandrels, metalwork and raw materials.

Safe use of tools and machinery and ensuring their maintenance and upkeep remains to a high standard.

Communicating any identified areas of improvement in the hose building process.

Understanding of specifications, being able to read and interpret specification sheets, drawings and dimensions.
To be successful in this role you will have:

A completed Trade Certificate with transferable skills is desirable, but non-essential

Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment will be highly regarded

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

An ability to follow specific work instructions, with a keen eye for detail and quality of work.
