Tasks

As a software engineer at bleane, you will be an important part of our team and work independently on various tasks. Whether frontend, backend or both, you have the opportunity to work where you feel comfortable and want to improve your skills. We provide you with maximum flexibility, and a steep learning curve by allowing you to significantly contribute to core features of our platform and be directly involved in major decisions.

On the frontend, you'll help continuously improve and enhance our application UI/UX in collaboration with designers and backend developers. On the backend, you'll add new features to our API, build and maintain synchronization systems, or develop entirely new areas of the platform. The scope of tasks may continuously shift and evolve.

You are expected to pay close attention to detail in your work, while also keeping the big picture in mind. Achieving this balance is important as we're always looking to improve and meet ambitious objectives, while you’ll learn from feedback and progress step by step. Your work will have a real impact on the direction of our software development and help us achieve great results together.

Our frontend application is built with Flutter and deployed for Android + iOS.
Our backend is mainly built with NestJS.
We use Postgres together with TypeORM as our database.
Most parts of our platform are built on AWS services such as EBS, RDS, S3, Lambda, EC2, and more.
For project management, we rely on GitHub and GitHub Projects.
Further, we follow an streamlined and automated deployment process (CI/CD).

Requirements

You demonstrate extensive experience as a software engineer, software developer, or similar in various fields.
While previous experience with our tech stack is a plus, we particularly value a broad experience in different areas of software development.
You are highly ambitious, you have a creative and visionary mindset, and you strive for excellence in every area.
You tackle challenges with an hands-on, proactive mindset and a focus on achieving results.
You are reliable and responsible, act with integrity and respect, and are a good team player.
