We are looking for you: a communications expert with a passion for sustainability who combines conceptual thinking and operational implementation, who thinks ahead and gets involved proactively and who uses their communications expertise to make Beiersdorf's successes visible and accessible to internal and external target groups.
Your tasks
As a Communication Manager Sustainability, you will support in the development of communication concept and planning, develop creative storylines and implement PR ideas for external and internal communication.
- Support concept development for sustainability communication strategy
- Coordinating / consulting / collaborating with Corporate Sustainability and other departments
- Execution of global and headquarter-based All-Employee Communication
- Internal and external topic scouting and support to the continuous planning and delivery of the respective communication roadmap
- Creation of text, image and video material for internal and external communication in cooperation with the 'External Affairs' and 'Corporate Branding & Digital' Teams within Corporate Communication
- Pulling relevant information and compiling responses to press enquiries, in collaboration with the ‘External Affairs’ team
- Creating Q&A documents and statements for new and ongoing issues, as well as managing current issue topics
- Contact person for questions from the international PR-network and coaching of the countries to establish and expand local sustainability communication for Beiersdorf
This job is limited for two years.
- University degree (communication, journalism, business studies, new media)
- First professional experience in communication/PR
- Knowledge of content creation and good storytelling
- Passion for the topic of sustainability
- Target group-oriented communication and copywriting skills for different channels
- Conceptual thinking and good project management skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and German
- Team orientation and intercultural competence

Hamburg/Germany is the primary location for this position. Therefore, we recommend residence in Hamburg.
Our company agreement allows basically up to 40% of the working time in a flexible work location in Germany. The exact arrangement of this agreement in the relevant team will be explained in a personal conversation.
