Compulsory internship in the field of Otto-engine development in Stuttgart bei Mercedes Benz AG

You will work in the development area for 4- and 6-cylinder gasoline engines at the Untertürkheim site. We deal with the mechanical validation and further development of engine components including hybrid application.

During your internship (compulsory internship only) you will work in the cylinder head/engine control team and the measuring point coordination. Our other tasks include the work area of type support. You will actively assist in our trials and testing tasks on test benches and in vehicles.
Your tasks include:

• Support of the type support in the context of the measuring point coordination of the new Otto 4 cylinder engines
• Involvement and support in the execution of the daily business, this includes the entire process from the design of new engines, to series support
• Insight into the planning, execution and evaluation of engine tests
• Preparation of presentation documents, calculations as well as documentation of the test results

• Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable course of study
• Confident knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Teamwork and communication skills, enthusiasm for the engine concepts of the future

Please note that your internship at this location must have a prescribed mandatory component.
