Our Finance team is looking for a Finance Working Student (m/f/d) (20 hours per week) for our site in Eschborn. This is a great and unique opportunity to join our ambitious and winning Neuromodulation team and work in dynamic and international environment while supporting all FP&A activities. The role will be reporting into Senior Financial Analyst who covers all FP&A activities related to Germany & Austria and the role will act as his backup in case of absence. As a result this role will have a lot of visibility with direct exposure to regional commercial and international finance leadership team.

What You’ll Do

• Support sales and P&L forecast
• Support review and analysis of monthly financial results (P&L, B/S, Cash Flow)
• Support development of all business forecast (LBE) during the year (process as well as content) including business plans for new product launches
• Support monthly accounting process to close country P&Ls, prepare journal entries, analyze SG&A expenses and provide support in month end division reporting as well as review with regional commercial leaders
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions
• Act as a go to person in absence of senior financial analyst
• Assist in the development of PowerBI reports and proactively propose improvements to existing reports/processes; look for best practice across the finance organization

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting or related discipline with strong academic records.
• Creative, open, flexible, eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges
• Team-player
• Able to work on multiple projects, assignments and meet deadlines
• Hands-on mentality, customer-oriented mindset
• Organized, detail oriented and accurate
• Attracted by international environment and eager to learn about medical device industry
• MS Office knowledge (incl. advanced command of Excel and processing large data sets)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills
