Internship Business Development - Beauty & Desier in Berlin bei Zalando

As an intern (all genders) in the Business Development Team for Emerging Propositions (Beauty, Designer) you will support to shape and grow the propositions on Zalando! You seek and analyze growth opportunities, you contribute to solving key customer problems, you work closely with different functions and stakeholders to drive cross-functional projects and explore innovative solutions to optimize our business for sustainability and scalability. This internship is possible until the end of this year and should last a minimum of 3 months.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Support our Business Development team from project scoping and target definition, to project planning, management and implementation - while working closely with different stakeholders (Buying, Merchandise Planning, Logistics, Digital Experience, Marketing, etc.)

• Conduct data analyses and presentations with recommendations to solve newly arising problems on-the-go and thereby support business decision taking

• Put yourself in our customers’ shoes, conduct customer and market research, and explore opportunities that contribute to the success of the Beauty category across several markets

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You are currently enrolled in a university program in the field of business administration, marketing, economics, or related studies.

• You have first working experience, ideally working in a top tier strategy consulting firm and/or a Fashion Retail, eCommerce or strategic / business / corporate development role

• You have excellent written and oral communication skills (in English); German is a plus

• You have experience working with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

• You are passionate about e-commerce, and possibly have an affinity for the Beauty and/or Designer industries and willing to learn more about them

• You have a solid analytical mindset, a strong hands-on mentality and pay attention to detail

• You are self-motivated, creative, and enthusiastic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• You have a structured way of working and willingness to take on responsibility

• You can start as soon as possible, minimum duration of the internships is 3 months possible until end of year
