This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience. The AC&R Coordinator’s role is to plan outages, maintain the storeroom, order spare parts, and maintain equipment hierarchy in SAP. This position is also responsible for meeting facility targets for safety, productivity, and machine uptime. The facility is one of the top performers in the division supplying material all over the United States which translates to JOB SECURITY. Your Day-to-Day:
- Receive inventory in SAP - Receive purchase orders and verify all listed goods are received. Provide change orders and sign for goods as needed. Stock inventory into designated bay location operating forklift. Maintain housekeeping of goods receipt area.
- Complete requisitions - Gather and collect storeroom requisition sheets. Enter the bin number and quantity of items removed from inventory into computer to maintain accurate records.
- Repairable equipment - Utilizing multiple computer programs as well as paperwork, initiate requisition for damaged equipment. Identify part, determine vendor based on type of part, contact vendor to obtain estimate and shipping instructions, and ready equipment for shipment. Enter the vendor’s name, bin number, and description into the computer to generate a repairable part requisition. Forward the requisition to the supervisor. Post repairs: obtain and file repair documentation, inspect equipment and match against documents, revise price if required, and receive equipment into inventory.
- Monitor storeroom - Assist employees by locating materials. Visually monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor of low inventory supplies. Utilize multiple computer programs to monitor inventory levels. Contact vendors to determine when supplies will be delivered and track this information on the weekly maintenance schedule document. Manager spare parts purchases in order to meet the monthly maintenance budget.
- Perform cycle counts - Print the weekly cycle data sheet and verify all stated inventory quantities. Enter actual quantities into the computer as discrepancies are discovered to generate an Inventory Adjustment Report. Work with Cost Accountant to ensure completion and accuracy of cycle counts.
- Coordinate with the Process Engineers, Plant Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Process Technician, and Plant Integrators on impacted systems and the need to produce engineering documents.
- Interview work requesters, develop scope of work, and inspect job location to determine job requirements.
- Scope work orders to estimate the craft, labor hours, manpower, parts, materials, equipment and special tools required to complete the job in a safe and cost-effective manner.
