Job Summary:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role of the Finance Controller is to oversee the day-to-day finance operations and help guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Build close working relationships with defined internal customers to ensure solid understanding of their business and their needs for financial support.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting for the Finance and Operations team. This will include collation, reporting and analysis of key financial management information and trends, for example inventory movements.
- Provide monthly support to ensure timely and comprehensive completion of the Strategic Deployment Plan (SDP). This will include providing gap analysis and providing support to customers in identifying appropriate counter measures.
- Preparation of ad-hoc analysis to provide the business with accurate and timely information in order to support commercially sound business decisions.
- Ensure the Finance Manager is kept appropriately updated on key activity, raising issues or obstacles to ensure timely resolution.
What you will bring:
- Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
- Professionally qualified accountant demonstrate relevant experience
- Ideally demonstrate previous experience of operating within a manufacturing environment.
- Highly numerate, ability to analyse financial data and provide appropriate commentary
- Knowledge of SAP
- Business level English essential
