In your role as Paint Manager Central Europe (m/w/d) you are responsible for the paint performance of our eight painting lines based in Germany, Slovakia and Poland. Thanks to your expertise you are able to meet the business group opbjectives (Safety, Energy, budget, performance, quality, costs and deadlines) by setting up the right actions to be applied at every level of the organzation. Reporting directly to the Operations Director BUCE, you will lead operational strategies, drive productivity actions, and foster continuous improvement in the painting processes.
Activities:
- Ensure compliance with corporate and Business Group Health, Safety, Environment and Energy objectives
- Drive productivity initiatives and optimize processes by deploying business group standards
- Implement and oversee robotized painting processes to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Define and establish project planning, budgets, and resource allocation for painting projects
- Close cooperation with plant directors and supply chain managers of plant supplying the SILS in terms of business development aspects: resources evolution, new strategies
- Develop a talent pipeline to secure business continuity within the painting operations
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to meet department and project requirements
- Foster a strong organizational culture by enhancing communication and skill development
Competencies & Requirements
- Chemical or Engineering background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement and project management in industrial painting environment
- Unterstanding of robotic procecesses
- Problem solving, Organizational skills, good communication skills
- Project planning
- Leadership
- Language skills German and Englisch (both fluent)
