To operationalize this vision, The Landbanking Group builds the technological, legal and trust infrastructure for investments into nature. Apart from using latest remote sensing and AI technology to continuously assess the regenerative performance for every track of land, we believe that our product offers a game changer to the entire sustainability and regenerative agriculture industry, actually to the entire food, farming and land-use sector: our legal framework and financial product logic allows our customers to book payments for supply-chain resilience or ecosystem services in general not anymore as a cost, but activate them on the balance sheet as an intangible asset. This means, investing into regenerative land-use doesn’t reduce profits anymore but creates corporate value.

We are convinced that this new approach in accounting will be a major lever to take regenerative land-use to scale. It also offers us a whole new set of arguments when embarking on the journey to onboard customers onto our platform. It’s not anymore philanthropic, “make the world a better place” arguments, but we can show our customers that it is in their own economic interest to invest into more regenerative land-use.

Tasks

• Identify and acquire key accounts initially mostly from the small-, medium- and large-scale food and agricultural sector, later on complemented by the bank, insurance and investment sector
• Customer relationship management
• Responsibility for key account-related turnover
• Identification of customer requirements regarding the modification of products and services
• Cooperation with the product development team regarding customer requirements
• Identify, develop and manage pilot projects with customers
• Presentation of new products and services

Requirements

• Passionate interest in our product portfolio
• 5+ years of hands-on and successful account management and sales experience in sustainability and/or food and agricultural sector. Experience in the software and finance industry is welcome
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Taking responsibility and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to persistently pursue ambitious goals
• Willingness and preparedness to operate in a fast scaling, ambitious team
• Ability to inspire others
• IT affinity
• Fluent in German and English – other languages ​​are welcome
• Prepared to travel locally as well as globally
