Regional HR Business Partner
Huntsman has an opportunity for an experienced Regional/Global seasoned HR professional with a background in a multi-site/country role to support one of our largest divisions which is the Polyurethanes (PU) business. The position will be based out of our newly opening European Headquarters in Frankfurt. Your role(s) will be the following:
Global HR Business Partner Elastomers - Member Elastomers Global Leadership Team
Regional HR Business Partner PU EMEAI, member PU EMEAI Leadership Team
HR Lead PMT European Transformation Program
Reporting to the Global HR Business Director for Polyurethanes, you will be a key member of the PU Leadership Team driving the regional People Plan whilst also supporting with ongoing projects and change management initiatives. This is an exciting time to join our business as we are focused on driving a high performance and agile working culture within our Polyurethanes business across key locations in Europe, UK, Middle East and India. We are looking for a highly inspirational HR leader.
As the Regional HR Business Partner for PU, you will:
- Provide strategic HR/Change Management support to the European PU/Global Elastomers Leadership Team in line with business objectives
- Set the Strategic People agenda for PU in the EAMEI region/for Elastomers Globally
- Support and coach managers, on critical People Development Programs, talent management, well-being, learning and development, performance reviews, recruitment, restructuring activities and both Regional and Global HR Programs
- Use HR data to drive a culture of continuous improvement whilst proactively identifying trends which can improve people and business performance
- Work with Regional HR Business Partners in US and APAC to provide strategic and operational HR support to globalized business function as well as closely working with the different COE’s.
- Coach and develop the local HR Business Partners in PU EAMEI/Elastomers globally whilst working with our HRBPs across various sites in an indirect and matrix organisation.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree qualified with previous experience in a multi-location or regional HR Business Partner role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and to drive cross functional and cross-cultural teams to ensure alignment with business direction.
- Strategic thinker who has the confidence and agility to work within an international, matrix organisation focused on change management.
- Demonstrable track record of capturing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within a HR role which drives business performance
- High level of cultural and self-awareness with the ability to coach and develop both direct and indirect reports within a matrix organisation.
- Fluency in English is required with other languages being highly desirable
