THE CHALLENGE
> You are part of the infrastructure team planning, implementing and maintaining the services and infrastructure of our IoT platforms for reliability, performance and scalability
> You determine the feasibility of project requirements together with your team
> You design architectural decisions and discuss and implement them together with the team
> You develop infrastructure automation of LXC containers in Proxmox using Ansible and Gitlab CI/CD
YOUR EXPERIENCE
You have at least 5 years of experience in automated infrastructure management, e.g. as an IT system administrator, system engineer or in a DevOps role, including for example the following skills:
- Strong knowledge in administrating and analysing software performance of Linux-based systems
- Extensive knowledge in the automated administration of virtualisation or orchestration environments
- Experience with monitoring, logging, telemetry and visualisation services such as Prometheus, Loki and Grafana
- Designing and improving system architectures
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and git
- Experienced handling of Python and shell scripts and API connections, e.g. with REST or MQTT
- Database administration and migrations, especially for PostgreSQL/Timescale
> You like working with different technologies and enjoy exploring their possibilities
> You have drive, energy and a high willingness to learn and enjoy contributing to the team
> You are fluent in written and spoken English (language level C1 or higher), German is a plus
