How can you help us?
As Country Commercial Manager DACH you design and implement the commercial strategy for all the products of both business units (Bakery Products and MCOF / Plant Based Food Solutions) in region DACH, with a revenue of about €150 million in each BL.
In detail you can help us by:
Developing and defining a commercial strategy (go-to-market approach) and translating it into main targets and action plans per market segment, product group and sales areas. You communicate the strategy to the Key Account & Field Sales teams
Defining an optimal organization and organizational model to implement the commercial strategy. Furthermore, you allocate the necessary structures and resources
Coaching the Key Account Sales, Field Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams, for the different product groups and in the different segments
Being responsible for achieving the budgeted targets on turnover, volume development and profitability by analyzing sales figures and setting pricing, keeping costs under control (logistics, marketing, obsoletes, stocks), and (re)allocating resources
Supervising, analyzing and reporting one the results with respect to reporting and market information and in the final step taking corrective actions where needed
Ensuring a permanent update of the market information (market trends, competition, price levels, new products) and analyzing and using these data for adaptation of the commercial approach to the market reality
Looking for ways to streamline and optimize the organization in parallel with the market and customer concentration. Doing that by actively looking for synergies in sales teams, the marketing organization and the back-offices and everything
Developing innovative ways (and techniques) to approach (new) customers (and segments)
Coordinating the activities between the own organization and the business line services and within the own organization between the different departments
Reporting and informing the Commercial Directors and Group Marketing Director on results, market evolution and organizational development
What do you bring?
You hold a Master degree preferably in Economics, Business Engineering, Bio-engineering, etc. (MBA is a plus)
You have a proven track record in a successful commercial and marketing leadership role within the food/FMCG industry
