Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Director (m/f/d) in Essen bei Brenntag
In your role as Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Director (m/f/d) you report directly to our CHRO and consult and work with Global Leadership Team, business groups, and other HR colleagues as lead of Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) to build an inclusive and diverse culture and workforce at Brenntag.
- Develop, drive, and deliver DE&I programs across Brenntag; develop tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact and ROI of programs; develop reports on program effectiveness and make recommendations for program enhancement and improvement
- Operationalize DE&I strategy through processes, systems, and tools to achieve scale by leading key stakeholders through the change management
- Review current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder the company’s diversity goals
Shape and plan internal and external communication for critical events, programs and DE&I education initiatives and take ownership of the further development of communication platforms for DE&I
- Successfully completed university degree
- About 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the field of DE&I
- Strong project management, conceptual and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to a complex dynamic environment
- Ability to analyze and leverage data to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions, and measure impact
- Independent, organized, and structured working-style; ideally with international experiences
- Communicative and positive person with a strong hands-on mentality and a persuasive attitude
Proficient in MS Office and Project Management
