HCE -Hartwig Consulting Engineers- is an engineering consultancy specialising in Civil Engineering,

Industrial Facilities, Infrastructure, Energy and Resources. The basis for our worldwide projects is

Hamburg, Germany. We design, check and supervise national and international projects. Many

notable customers rely on us and the patents developed by our company.

We are looking for a

Regional Manager Poland / Eastern Europe

Are you a civil engineer who is experienced in project management and static calculation and would

like to be responsible for a great variety of national and international projects? This position offers you

the ability to lead your own team, as well manage international projects across Eastern Europe and

Scandinavia both on and off site.

Your responsibilities

Based in the Hamburg Head Office you will frequently travel to Poland

Manager of the Polish branch with a firm background both in structural engineering as well as

site and project management.

Your main goal is to further develop our Polish team and HCE’s business activities in Poland,

Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

Ultimately you will ideally grow into the position of Regional Manager for Poland, Eastern

Europe and Scandinavia, managing your own team.

Your tasks

Static calculations of preliminary and executive designs for Structural and Civil Engineering

projects

Site and Project Management in Poland and Eastern Europe (Infrastructure, Energy and Civil

Projects)

Supervision of site construction works (reinforced concrete works, earth works, roads, piling

and other civil constructions)

Approval and acceptance of construction

Consistent communication with all involved parties

General project management tasks

Reporting to Management Board

Your profile

Degree (B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc./M.Eng. or equal) in Civil Engineering

Good command of at least Polish and English (written and spoken)

Willingness to travel nationally and internationally

Motivated, proactive team-player

Excellent computer skills, (MS Office)

Driving license class B

Knowledge of additional language will be of advantage, ideally German
