You want to help us grow our business around Transactional Services? We are looking for a motivated (Junior) Business Development Manager (d/f/m).
About the team:
As a member of our Transactions business unit you will be responsible to refine our young and scaling ‘safe payments’ offer, iterate our shipping integrations and support in defining the future of our product.
You will bring commercial and strategic know-how to our cross-functional teams.
A key part of your role will be defining new strategic concepts for our ‘Sicher Bezahlen’ product. You will be responsible for the development of our existing payment services, selecting new partners in the shipping area, and researching additional new service offers. Furthermore, you co-develop the strategy for our C2C transactional business together with your team including planning and preparing business cases. Your mission is to create value for our users, our partners, and Kleinanzeigen!
The role:

Shape Kleinanzeigen's transactional future in close collaboration with Product Managers and other functions

Gather data and insights to create a better understanding of future opportunities

Define and conceptualize strategic projects and pitch them for global buy-in
-
Execute the strategy together with cross-functional teams, supervise progress against the goals you defined and iterate based on what you learn

Build close relationships with various external partners such as shipping and payment providers

Support the team with revenue forecasting and planning

Align closely with your peers in our other EU markets on strategic levers, product improvements, and new business opportunities
Your profile:

Academic degree in Economics, Business Management or equivalent
-
Demonstrated experience in a similar role with at least 2+ years of business development or strategic project management

Having worked in e-commerce and/or payments & shipping is a plus

Proven experience in the field of strategic partnerships

Outstanding communication style to bring together people from various backgrounds and build to-the-point presentations for different levels within the organisation

Your conceptual skills are paired with hands-on attitude, motivation to take ownership for your topics and the inclusion of partners from A-Z.

A fast learner with a demonstrated ability to drive sophisticated topics to a full completion

Excellent German and English language skills.
