About the role
As a Partner Development Manager (PDM), you will act as the daily face of our company to our partner channel. You are accountable for driving performance of a managed portfolio of partners, by business priority, with a primary focus on Microsoft cloud services (O365, Azure and Dynamics 365) and complementary products. The goal is to drive partner recruitment, enablement and business growth based on the partners’ strengths and priorities. The PDM represents Microsoft to our partners, communicates our strategy, sells our vision, and brings partners along in the digital transformation journey.
- Leads the creation of a strategic vision rooted to the partners impact and potential across segments, and will generally serve partners that are smaller or startups. Demonstrates an expert understanding of the partners business and conveys the value of partnering with Microsoft based on the business opportunity and possible competition.
- Contributes to Business Design briefings advising partner leadership on building a high-impact Microsoft Services practice. Develops and executes forward-thinking partner business plans that develop partner business and support cloud consumption and digital transformation. Considers short- and long-term goals and performance expectations based on partner capabilities.
- Leverages internal resources to develop Go-to-Market (GTM) and co-selling strategies that define activities and expectations to meet Microsoft and partner sales goals. Prioritizes accounts for developing GTM strategies. Advises partner on meeting various program, sales, and tech requirements.
- Leverages and recruits new partners to grow business. Identifies opportunities to sell Microsoft products and services.

- Pursuing either a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in relevant field with a minimum of one semester remaining (i.e Business Administration/Marketing/Currently pursuing an MBA)
- First practical experiences or internships in a communications/marketing/data analytic/customer facing/technical role. Understanding of the OEM and Partner business is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking to connect digital and in-person marketing tactics using data
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
