At Siemens, sustainability and responsible business conduct is not just a promise but lived practice. From within our global team, you will play a key role in ensuring that we continue this path with determination and deliberation.
You identify and comprehensively assess reputational risks with a particular focus on environmental, social, and human rights related risks in customer business.
You develop and assign risk mitigation plans in collaboration with communications, and other key functions, and follow-up on the progress and effectiveness of their implementation.
You monitor and report on the company's reputational risk performance and help assess and substantiate alleged external criticism (e.g., from NGOs, investors).
You collaborate with other key functions at Headquarter, Business, and regional level, such as Communications, Sustainability, and Legal Compliance
You keep up to date with trending controversial topics entailing environmental, social, and human rights related risks.
You oversee the IT landscape of relevant tool providers able to provide comprehensive reputational risk management and analytics support.
You help build relationships with stakeholders, including investors, customers, and NGOs, to ensure the company's initiatives are aligned with their expectations.
By doing so, you will help ensure that our leading role in sustainability and responsible business conduct is perceived internally and externally.
Next to being proactive, courageous, and passionate about sustainability you should bring the following:
University degree (Master) in business, sustainability, communications, or related field.
You have 1-2 years of experience in reputational risk management, preferably in a corporate or ESG service environment.
You have strong analytical and IT skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential risks to the organization's reputation leveraging most suited and relevant external tool providers.
You have good knowledge of relevant International Standards as well as emerging ESG regulations and their requirements.
You have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
You enjoy working independently in your area of responsibility, but also see yourself as part of a larger team. You expect a work environment that is fun, collegial, and focused on excellence. You are committed to going above and beyond your core responsibilities and feel comfortable in a dynamic working environment.
You are fluent in English. German language skills will be positively evaluated.
