As a highly focused pipeline and capital 'market maker', we target cross-risk, cross-sector private equity real estate investment and development opportunities in London, key regional markets in the UK and Dublin. With various prestigious residential projects currently underway and a development pipeline of circa 1.5m sq ft or £1.5bn gross value in central London, our current ambition is to increase this value to £3bn over the next two years.

Against this exciting backdrop, we are looking for a (Junior) Finance Manager in London who is experienced in accounting and will work closely with our finance director. Equipped with great development potential, the position offers a broad spectrum of tasks in finance & accounting.

As a (Junior) Finance Manager, you will be constantly communicating with our finance director about all key financial processes – financial reporting, accounting, tax and invoicing:

• Group reporting: You will assist with the reporting to investors and the corporate group as well as with the preparation of management board reports, including business plans.
• Accounting: Jointly with our Finance Director you will review monthly and annual financial statements with great accuracy – in compliance with UK accounting standards (FRS and IFRS) – and assist with annual and half-year forecasts.
• Tax: Together wit our Finance Director you are the contact person for regular audits and are responsible for the quarterly VAT and annual corporation tax returns.
• Liquidity management: You support and prepare cash flow forecasts, monitor project budgets, inform investment and development teams about target and actual figures and calculate monthly calls for funds and distributions.
• As a junior all-rounder in finance, accounting, controlling and taxes, you will jointly with our Finance Director work with accountants and treasurers across disciplines and countries, as well as with HR and the company secretarial service and use your financial expertise to jointly improve processes and increase efficiency.

• We welcome you with a degree in business administration, a completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g. as a bank clerk or as a tax clerk). A comparable British qualification as an accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) is a must.
• In addition, you have gained initial professional experience in balance sheet accounting, group accounting, controlling or a related field, preferably in the real estate industry.
• You are absolutely proficient in the preparation of reports, forecasts and financial analyses and highly motivated to constantly expand your knowledge and your area of responsibility.
• You are a strong communicator and highly proficient in both spoken and written English – German language skills are helpful as well.
• You approach your tasks proactively and with excellent time management – priorities and deadlines are well organized and due diligence is always maintained.
