Project Engineer (m, w, d)
for our location Emco Wheaton in Kirchhain/Hessen
With a unique blend of experience, engineering know-how and innovation, EMCO WHEATON develops market-leading loading systems for oil and gas, chemical, mineral oil, food and beverage, as well as customized refuelling systems for transportation, transfer, aviation and vehicle fleet refuelling.
Your tasks:
- Design, design, evaluation and optimization of electro-hydraulic control systems for ship loading arms
- Independent processing of project tasks, e. g. creation of parts lists, design, documentation, experimental planning and participation in experimental execution
- Identification of requirements from customer specifications and implementation taking into account the project budget.
- Coordination of work packages and coordination with internal and external partners (e. g. acceptance testing with production or supplier)
- Supporting the sales team in the development of targeted offers
Your qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or comparable studies
- Professional experience in electro-hydraulic control systems
- Experience in the design and analysis of control systems with functional safety (SIL, IEC 61508/IEC61511)
- Knowledge and experience in PLC programming
- Knowledge of ATEX, low-voltage, EX protection directives is desirable
- Safe handling of MS Office and CAD systems
- Objective- and solution-oriented thinking and action
- Team-oriented action
- Fluent knowledge of German and English
