The Global Head of Project Quality plays a pivotal role in steering the Project Quality team, which is instrumental in offering expert advice to Project Managers on all quality-related matters across the entire span of Compression projects. This leadership position is integral in ensuring that the quality of the project aligns with customer expectations while adhering to all relevant standards and regulations.

The Project Quality team ensures that customers' quality requirements are incorporated into the project's design and construction, tests and inspections necessary to verify compliance are performed and established processes are adhered to.

Additionally, the Project Quality team contributes to the bid preparation phase by examining customer specifications related to quality and assisting in the formulation of budget estimates.

This role reports into the Head of Project Controls & Quality Support within the Compression Project Management organization. It offers flexibility in terms of location, with the possibility of being based in any of the main Compression sites, including Duisburg (Germany), Houston (USA), or Santa Barbara (Brazil).

How You’ll Make an Impact

• 
  Development and implementation of a global Project Quality set up (structure and people).
• Strategic workforce planning and development including competency management.
• Determining the products and process related quality requirements specified in the customer specifications and other international laws and regulations
• Preparation and implementation of the quality control plan internally and externally
• Managing and monitoring of quality inspection resources and audits on projects.
• Planning and ensuring the quality of project-specific supplies and services (internal/external).
• Develop, implement and manage metrics for efficient Quality management in projects as well as for the global Compression portfolio.
• Customer interface regarding quality in projects
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Act as the go-to escalation point for all quality-related issues within projects
• Work hand-in-hand with our sales team, reviewing contractual specifications to guarantee that our proposals accurately reflect our quality commitments.
• Employ systematic quality methods to analyze and resolve non-conformities throughout the project lifecycle. Your analytical skills will help us learn from every project, turning challenges into stepping-stones for future success.

What You Bring

• 
  Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related field
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including significant exposure to the oil and gas industry, power plant projects, or EPC projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Quality requirements and demonstrated experience in the Gas Compression industry
• Ability to analyze data with a broad view in developing creative issue resolution
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
• Proven leadership or managerial experience, with the ability to inspire and lead teams
• Strong commitment to working in a global team environment, with a focus on inclusivity and engagement
• Innovator with a change management and quality-oriented mindset
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English

Project Quality within the Project Quality and Support organization is an expert team working in the global project environment to understand, interpret, and enforce all quality aspects and requirements within a project in order to lead, support, mentor, and coach the project team through the Management of the Quality requirements during project life cycle and warranty period
