We are Software Innovation and Development Berlin, a digital unit inside Volkswagen Group IT. Our mission is to support our company’s NEW AUTO strategy with innovative software solutions. The focus of our product development lies in the digital support to Volkswagen’s core processes such as production planning, supply chain management and sales management. As a software engineer you will work together with product designers and product managers in multidisciplinary and agile product teams through the entire lifecycle of digital products. -You will be supporting the development of backend, frontend and mobile applications, in various tech stacks. -You will be contributing to all phases of the development process ensuring you and your team build reliable software by applying test-driven development (TDD), and following clean code principles. -You will be helping your team to ensure smooth operation of the software through DevOps.
-You like test-driven software development (TDD) and coding in pairs when needed and you ideally have first experience in AWS. -You are open-minded, friendly, like to learn continuously and share your knowledge. -You have first experience in ideally technologies such as Kotlin, Go, Node, Javascript/Typescript, Python, Angular, ReactJS, Swift or similar. -You like to give and receive feedback for continuous personal development and work actively to improve our products. -You study Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable qualification and have good English skills.
