3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets. This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Administrative Assistant in the Global Analytics, Education and Development, fleet management group in Corporate Marketing & Communication, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supports operations by handling a wide variety of administrative duties as delegated by supervisor and other principals.
- Acts independently on standard procedures and handles non-routine situations.
- Prepares periodic reports or business monitoring assignments.
- Coordinates on-, off-site and virtual meetings, and conferences, including travel arrangements as needed, developing presentations and agenda, taking meeting notes, and processing summary of proceedings.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High-school and Apprenticeship with related job experience in an administrative assistant function at 3M or equivalent in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Highly developed written and oral English communication skills.
- Strong familiarity with multiple software packages and applications may be necessary to perform specialized tasks.
- Applies highly developed secretarial, administrative, and coordination skills to complete activities.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple project streams and tasks.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or completion of advanced administrative, business related (marketing, analytics) courses, or core college curriculum is desirable.
- Ability to deal with high degree of ambiguity, maintain composure and negotiate solutions in challenging and stressful situations.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
