Specialist* Biomarker Operations
Your main responsibilities are:
- Supporting execution of the biomarker strategy, including coordinating, and overseeing all operational activities required to manage the lifecycle of biomarker samples in global phase I-IV clinical trials
- Support biomarker operational deliverables to be achieved in time and quality (including ICH/GCP regulations)
- Management of biomarker samples in projects with high complexity and across continents
- Maintenance of efficient biomarker sample logistics on the assigned projects (incl. biomarker sample and shipment tracking, managing sample transfers and supporting query resolutions)
- Timely collection and filing of TMF relevant documents for Biomarker Operations
- Establishing and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of biomarker sample and data metrics
- Perform day-to-day operational routine activities and communicate with biomarker and courier vendors as well as internal laboratories on delegated activities and potential issues
What you have to offer:
- Natural/ life sciences or medical background (university degree or experience in a medical profession such as Nurse or Medical Technical Assistant or Laboratory Technical Assistant)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical operations or central laboratory operations including clinical sample tracking/management (e.g., biomarker, PK/PD) and/or sample reconciliation activities
- Experience in GCP environment, Lab Management Systems (e.g., LIMS), courier communication and sample transport logistics
- Recognize problems and identify solutions together with the project team
- Pro-active way of working, starting to work independently
- Attention to details, analytical thinker & problem solver
- Able to rapidly enter in action and to work under stress conditions
- Refined organizational and written and spoken communication skills in English
- Experience in usual software (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project)
