The Customer Support Specialist is the first point of contact for UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supplies) Service customers and business partners of the Power Protection in Germany. Reporting to the Service Sales Management and using your customer service skills and knowledge, you will aid the Service Sales team by reacting to customer and Field Service Engineers inquiries.

Your responsibilities

• Providing effective solutions through proactive and reactive quoting based on customer needs, customer requests and technician reports
• Issuing quotations for repairs, wear part replacements, individual maintenance and service contracts
• Monitoring the status and proactively following up on quotations
• Advising customers and business partners on necessary interventions
• Communicating with internal resources (Order Handling, Service Dispatching, Field Service Execution) as necessary
• Ensuring a positive customer experience, monitoring the overall process and trends, identifying areas for improvement

Your background

• >2 years of experience in internal sales, order handling or similar, working as back office with technical components / products / solutions in the electrical or mechanical industry market
• An agile and proactive approach, with a demonstrated ability to take ownership of customer issues
• Commercial education with technical affinity
• Very good knowledge of German and English
