Your main tasks

You will carry out research tasks in the Collaborative Research Center CRC/TRR 247 “Heterogeneous Oxidation Catalysis in the Liquid Phase", which is funded by the German Research Foundation. The aim is to elucidate fundamental mechanisms of catalytic processes. Using state-of-the-art laser spectroscopy, you will have the opportunity to conduct research on nanoscale metal oxides for tailoring their catalytic activity for specific applications in a sustainable energy future.
You have access to extensive technological and spectroscopic equipment

Your profile

Completed university studies in Nanoengineering/Nanosciences, Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Sciences of at least 8 semesters
If possible, experience in areas such as optical spectroscopy, materials science, catalysis, and/or chemical processes
Independence, sense of responsibility and strong interest in research
