Your responsibilities
Head of Business Controlling Integrated Gross Margin Power (f/m/d) in full-time/part-time/Job-Sharing
As part of our of the Business Controlling Power Trading & Integrated Gross Margin department, we are looking for a Head of Business Controlling Integrated Gross Margin Power (f/m/d) to join forces on driving performance for Uniper’s Power business. Embrace variety, navigate change, and champion diversity with us.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of five (senior) Business Controller and using the Business Controlling Vision & Mission towards value creation & digitilization
- Lead the planning & reporting of Uniper’s Gross Margins of the Flexible & Green Power Generation Segments
- Provide analysis on the implications of environmental changes (e.g. commodity prices, market conditions, regulation) on performance, assess threats and weaknesses and initiate countermeasures
- lead cross-functional projects to further enhance the existing processes & system landscape
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools
- Foster constructive and seamless collaboration between various teams (e.g. Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, Accounting, Risk and Data Management)
- Give recommendations for decision making via critically appraising projects, investments and contracts as well as portfolio reviews, performance measurement, business model & KPI setup
Your profile
- University degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
- Several years of professional experience in (business) Controlling and/or substantial understanding of the finance processes
- Willingness to engage in system-, process optimization- & IT-projects
- Knowledge of relevant IT-systems (e.g. BI-Tools, SQL based Data base systems)
- Preferably experience within power trading & power asset optimization business
- Strong analytical mind-set and willingness to drive performance and change
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and easily understandable way
- Proactiveness and ability to cooperate in a cross-functional environment with high number of cultural backgrounds
- Fluent in written and spoken English
