Internship in logistics service provider management starting January 2024 in Bremen bei Mercedes Benz AG

Are you looking for a special internship, do you want to get involved and actively shape the logistics topics of today and tomorrow?

Our two teams are responsible for the complete operational and strategic logistics service provider management (LDL management) for the press shop, body shop and assembly areas. This includes production supply within the plant as well as the relevant external warehouses.

The following awaits you during the six-month internship:

• Exciting insights into the processes at Mercedes-Benz Cars
• Recording and documentation of existing logistics processes
• Analysis and optimization of logistics processes
• Implementation of own projects for process optimization
• Presentation of work results, as well as maintenance of management reports
• Support during the implementation of pilot processes
• Preparation of training documents and conducting training courses with external logistics service providers

- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, ideally with a focus on logistics or a comparable degree with a specialization in logistics or supply chain management - Confident written and spoken German, English optional - Very good MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access), SAP knowledge is an advantage - Understanding of logistics processes - Quick grasp, analytical understanding and structured way of working - Independence, commitment and initiative - Very good communication and team skills
