As our new Brand Designer you will:
- Interpret design briefs to generate creative ideas, develop concepts and contently solve business problems through strategic design. solutions for all types of assets and collateral that drive business results including, but not exclusively, our website, campaigns, presentations, digital ads, landing pages, infographics, social media graphics, printed collateral and event graphics.
- Help build and manage a visual identity system that scales across channels, mediums, geographies, and languages to accompany our brand as we expand.
- Create sketches, moodboards, mockups, and prototypes to visualise and effectively communicate your ideas.
- Test and refine creative concepts based on data, research and insights.
- Ensure adherence to all design best-practices and fundamentals.
- Help manage a brand content management system by keeping assets up to date, organised and easily accessible for others.
What you need to be successful:
- While design is a tool in which we express something visually, we're looking for someone who understands branding – how our impact and meaningful difference comes through when we consistently look, sound and feel like kevin. across all channels and media.
- 4-6 years of experience as a Brand Designer, with previous experience working with businesses moving through brand changes (rebrand/brand refresh), either agency side or brand side.
- You understand the power of concept and storytelling. You know a big idea when you see one and can bring it to life with impeccable taste, craftsmanship and a razor-sharp attention to detail across a broad spectrum of brand experiences.
- You have passion and ability for branding and visual identity systems.
- You have strong communication skills, with the ability to relay proposed design solutions to stakeholders who may not have a design background.
- You have an obsession with design fundamentals and visual design skills.
- You have in depth knowledge of recognised design industry tools and platforms (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Notion, Milanote).
- Awareness of graphic design industry and trends.
- Ability to work under pressure, to tight and frequently changing deadlines.
