The successful candidate can successfully analyze product data, develop a competitive robust process, considering all tolerance requirements for the latest Automotive Industry materials.

Have a full understanding of the latest high strength materials, product manufacturing, heat treatment and joining technologies.

Deine Aufgaben

• Develop and optimize the manufacturing system layouts.
• Perform product manufacturability analysis.
• Support of GD&T / Tolerance stack-up analysis, development of Clamping Plans and P-FMEA documentation.
• Support of process change management and quote development.
• Support of continuous improvement efforts in Corporate Best Practices, Bench marking activities and Lessons learned.
• Support global launch activities as required.

Wonach wir suchen

• Chassis and Body-In-White Welding and Assembly fixture design experience.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel globally and have valid travel documents.
• Continuously adhere to and apply the Magna Employee’s Charter, the Magna Corporate Constitution, and the Cosma Way of Thinking in all aspects of position and interaction with others
• Understands and follows established rules, procedures and policies relating to position;
• Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures;

Deine bevorzugten Qualifikationen

• Post-Secondary education e.g. technical school, college, university, special studies or equivalent, trade with shopfloor experience in Automotive manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in related industry. (Automotive preferred)
• Excellent German and English skills (fluent in spoken and written, presentation skills)
• Proficiency in ACAD or similar and Experience with 3D CAD software an asset.
• Experience with 3D Process Software an asset.
