For our group "Interconnection Technology" we are looking for an intern starting from 01.10.2023 (or by arrangement).

You will work in our research projects on the electrical connection of batteries using soldering processes. Together, we analyze and test different solders and evaluate their suitability for the interconnection of high-power or high-energy battery modules. Our development focus is on the process development for the different solders, as well as the characterization of the joints with regard to mechanics, electrics, microstructure and long-term stability.

What you will do

• You perform soldering experiments with batteries.
• You characterize the joints electrically and mechanically.
• You prepare a documentation of your experiments.
• You prepare the data scientifically.

What you bring to the table

• You are a currently enrolled student in the field of process technology, material science, physics, engineering or comparable.
• You have a quick perseption and work reliably.
• You enjoy working constructively with others.
• You can express yourself confidently in both German and English.
