We are looking for YOU! We’re MoovIT – a friendly team of 37 people from the fields of video
and IT, working at Schanzenstrasse 29 in Cologne’s Mülheim district. We specialise in developing
and supporting workflows relating to post-production, news and archiving at the interface of
video and IT. We help businesses across multiple industries with innovative solutions for web-to-
video, localisation, remote editing and video hosting. Our customers include broadcasters,
production houses, agencies and sports organisers.

customers on site to develop solutions together, or to support them at events such as the World
Cup or European Championship.

As part of our team, you will:
• Play an active role in both backend and frontend development

Support the installation of systems at customer sites
Support us in developing workflows together with our customers
Work with teams across functions and departments to ensure quality throughout the software

development lifecycle

Here’s what we’re looking for from you:
• More important to us than your academic qualifications is your ability to support us!

You may have an apprenticeship as an IT specialist in application development, comparable

training or a degree in computer science. Or perhaps you’re looking to switch careers, ideally
from the media or post-production environments.

You love working on exciting technical products and projects.
You have some basic experience in the field of object-oriented development, applications,

multi-layer systems, web applications and state-of-the-art services.

You have good knowledge of Java or a comparable programming language.
You have good knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
You have an analytical mind and a strong ability to propose solutions to problems.
You have an affinity for new technologies and are motivated to adapt and evolve them.
While you can work independently (you may even be self-employed), you’re looking for a

responsible and team-oriented way of working.

You are confident in dealing with Microsoft and Unix operating systems.
You have good knowledge of German OR English (at least B1).
