Our Central Logistics department acts as an interface between the global production sites and is responsible for a broad range of topics from logistics methods & digitalization to project and deployment management to the management of international supply chains.

As an essential part of our further development, we have created a cross-team peer group that centrally manages and scales topics such as digitalization and automation.

Your responsibilities:

Active participation and co-design of digitization and automation projects within our cross-team peer group
Familiarization with tools of your choice (Uipath, Power Automate, Power Bi and/or Power Apps) and independent implementation of use cases in coordination with the team
Support in the management and implementation of projects in the area of logistics digitization
Opportunity to write a practice-oriented thesis in the area of AI, ML, digitalization and automation in logistics

Qualifications

You are currently enrolled in a degree program in computer science, business informatics, engineering or a similar field of study
You have basic knowledge of databases and are able to perform data queries and analyses using SQL
You have basic knowledge in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Javascript, Java or C#
You have gained some practical experience in working with APIs
You communicate fluently in German and English
Experience or knowledge in one or more of the mentioned tools (Uipath, Power Bi, Power Apps) enhances your profile
You are self-motivated, work independently and are a team player
You are motivated to work in a constantly changing environment and want to proactively drive digitalization in the area of central logistics
