In our Electrical Engineering department, we are currently seeking a qualified and ambitious Software Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

Execution of project tasks according to plan for assigned development projects

Development of embedded software for Bourns’ sensors, especially linear and angular sensors for the automotive industry

Development of scripts and tools to support the development and verification of the software under development (for example, tools for data collection and evaluation)

Documentation of software design and verification according to ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE

Teamwork with other members of the software and hardware team, other teams within Bourns as well as coordination with suppliers and development partners

Providing technical advice for relevant applications and interface questions as well as presentation of development results internally and externally

Your Profile:

Graduation in of the following degrees or equivalent: Dipl.-Ing., Phys.-Ing. or Dipl.-Phys.

Relevant experience in the development of software for embedded applications

Knowledge in development tools such as C compilers, code checkers, Matlab/Simulink, version control systems, programming for microcontrollers, CAN bus protocol

Development according to industry standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 26262

Ability to work in teams and independently; ability to communicate development status and results to the team and constructively implement feedback from the development team

Very good language skills in German and English
