Your Role

At topi, data drives all of our decisions. It is the essence of our business. We are looking for people to join a diverse and ambitious cross-functional team with people who value collaboration, impact, and learning.

You will be part of a cross-functional team, helping make reliable high-quality data available and discoverable to people across the business so they can make decisions driven by data. Part of the role will also involve shaping data from external sources so it can be easily used by people in the business. You will design and develop reports and dashboards which help topi use its data to make business decisions.

About You

You will feel right at home if you like:

• Collaborating with people around the business to understand what decisions they need to make, and which data is important to capture to enable those decisions,
• Being part of a cross-functional team building reliable data models that can be consumed for internal reporting and machine learning,
• Analysing datasets (both internal and external) to generate insights and present findings to your various stakeholders,Writing maintainable and tested code and SQL,
• Working with our product and engineering teams to help understand their data needs,
• Learning new technologies and improving your skills.

Who we're looking for

• You have an understanding of SQL and data modelling skills,
• You have experience building and evolving reliable data sets,
• You understand data governance best practices,
• You enjoy working effectively with people from various backgrounds and experiences to understand the data required for them to make business decisions they need,
• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

As a nice-to have, it would be even better if you:

• You have worked with Metabase or similar technology
• You have modelled data to enable both for analysis and machine learning use cases
