DuPont Electronics and Imaging is seeking a Plant Manager for our Neu-Isenburg site.
The operations run 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week. The role has leadership responsibilities for an organization of 80 operators and contractors, and 11 direct reports. This role oversees holistic manufacturing operations which include material conversion, compaction, sintering, finishing, molding, sintering, annealing, machining, inspections, packaging and shipping. This role gives direction to functional groups (i.e. - EHS, Quality, Training, Maintenance, etc) to support safe, reliable production. The plant manager role drives continuous improvement initiatives to ensure core value, workforce and business goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees effectiveness of overall operations for all aspects of the Site including production, maintenance, technology and other manufacturing /units functions.
- Represents the site in the business strategy development and goal setting process.
- Conducts annual and long-term capital planning for site including 5-year infrastructure plans
- Actively support the continuous improvement of quality management systems in order to maintain industry certifications, as well as drive a continuous improvement mindset to meet customer needs.
- Cultivates CARE (Connect, Appreciate, Respect, Empower) culture across the site
- Builds effective teams by driving site employee development process and ensuring site people succession planning meets future skill requirements
- Sponsors and Champions onsite Diversity, Equity & Inclusion networks; values and leverages differences in people
Required Experiences and Skills:
- BS or MA Sciences, Engineering
- Several years of Manufacturing Leadership Experience an Manufacturing Operations
- Prior site or unit management experience
- Strong work safety and process safety mindset and proven track record in applying it
- Strong visionary, change management and engagement skills
- Multiple Cross-functional experiences (Manufacturing Technology, Project Management, Maintenance/Reliability, EH&S, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Human Resources, etc)
- Works Council relations experience
- Ability to set priorities and provide direction to influence management and broader organization
- (Recommended) Supply Chain experience or equivalent training (APICS CSCP or CPIM)
- (Recommended) Six Sigma Certification
