Erfahrenen Buchhalter/Senior Accountant in Frankfurt am Main bei Endava

Responsibilities

In Berlin or Frankfurt am Main we are looking for a Erfahrenen Buchhalter/Senior Accountant (M/W/D) to join the local DACH finance team for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland*.* The main tasks include the processing of accounting and tax matters.

Oracle Fusion is used as the company-wide ERP system. All transactional accounting is done from our Shared Services Center based in Cluj Romania. Endava is a group listed at the NYSE (SEC-Listed)

Responsibilities:

• Local payroll function as a reviewer of payroll prepared by external providers
• In charge of the monthly VAT filing of the DACH entities
• Assist in preparing annual financial statements according to local GAAPs of the DACH entities (mainly HGB), using Oracle and DATEV
• Process business transactions in general ledgers and sub-ledgers in cooperation with our SSC from Romania
• Interact with internal and external auditors and various internal stakeholders
• Support in the preparation of corporate income tax and trade tax returns including ongoing tax queries
• Prepare and filing of statistical reports
• Occasional trips to Berlin or Frankfurt am Main

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional experience in the preparation of financial statements according to local GAAP (HGB), preferably in an international company or a tax advisory firm, base knowledge in IFRS is a plus
• Successfully completed or ongoing examination as a Steuerfachangestellter, Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) or comparable apprenticeship with corresponding further training or experience in the area (in other countries as well)
• Good knowledge of German corporate tax law, VAT, and payroll processing
• Experience with DATEV, Oracle, or another ERP system is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Convinced team player who works collaboratively with others using good communication skills
• Independent, conscientious, and goal-oriented working style
• Intercultural competence and fluency in German and English, other languages are a plus like Polish, Danish, and/or Dutch
• Maturity, professionalism, and a high level of discretion
