As Head of Business Transformation at RWE Offshore you will be responsible for delivering our business strategy by supporting major transformational projects and activities as well as supporting to shape the process landscape (incl. elements of Lean/operational excellence) as well as driving relevant people topics, e.g. culture, behaviours, and mindset.
Your Tasks:
From strategy to execution:
- Aligning with the management team on top priorities for business transformation activities based on RWE Offshore’s future strategic direction and the ongoing implementation of the business strategy
- Supporting the business in translating the strategy into cascaded team objectives/KPIs and subsequently coordinating appropriate activities
- Project Management: Supporting the execution of (major) transformational projects and initiatives across the Offshore business, incl. the overarching program management and support of workstreams
Organizational Development:
- Strengthening organizational capabilities and leadership alignment, e.g., coaching of Offshore senior mgmt. team (in performance mgmt., problem solving, etc.) and setting up according formats and methods; preparation and facilitiation of leadership meetings
- Providing support for change processes and culture interventions such as change coaching for line functions and projects/initiatives, Peer Group Coaching, etc.
Identifying patterns in the organization, e.g. by surveys/polls as well as developing and proposing measures to address these patterns -
Process improvement:
- Introducing, building up & sustaining process improvement capabilities, such as Lean- and Change- methods, across business/line org., site teams and support functions
Your Profile:
- University degree or equivalent, e.g., in Business
- Previous leadership experience in Corporate/Business Transformation or Corporate/Business Strategy or Consulting (esp. in transformation projects)
- Exception skillset in the management of large transformation projects, incl. project management and problem solving; cultural change processes, and lean management
- Positive drive; communications and stakeholder management skills
- International work experience in the energy sector, esp. in renewables and offshore wind
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Fluent English language skills are mandatory, other languages welcome
