Partner with the best
You will work closely and play a key role with other engineering and research experts in a multi-disciplinary and multinational team to develop and commercialize the novel 3C technology – a rotating packed bed (RPB) process intensification technology utilizing centrifugal acceleration to intensify mass transfer. 3C is an emission reduction technology that can be applied post-combustion at site of emission point.
You will contribute to the development and design of the novel rotating absorber and desorber units and to the design of process plants for demonstration and qualification of the 3C technology.
You will be involved in the R&D and design of key elements of the RPB technology.
As a Senior R&D Engineer - Packing and Internals , you will be responsible for:
Developing and designing of packing & internals for RPB technology.
Exploring and developing plastic & other advanced material for packing & internals. Fluid analysis and structure development for new packings & internals
Supporting the tests for packings and internals and carrying out analysis based on test results.
Scaling-up studies and design for commercial scale plants
Establishing workflow/specification/quality plan including design, manufacture, and inspection packing & internals.
Developing and improving in-house design tools.
Supporting and collaborating with other subjects for design and operation of CCC plants.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or similar.
Have work experience on R&D and design of packings and (column) internals for mass transfer equipment.
Have experience with principle of process intensification and/o RPB technology is considered a very good advantage (not requirement).
Have very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Have a creative and analytic mindset.
Be proactive and motivated individual, with passion for environmental projects.
