Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

The Delivery Unit E³ 1.1 has the full economic responsibility over the entire life cycle of the E³ architectures from requirements to release to field support. Our tasks include the coordination of customer needs, the commissioning of the Tech Centers with the development of products, holistic monitoring of project progress and resolution of goal conflicts. The Delivery Unit is the defined interface to the series of the brands.
- Development and maintenance of the specific architectures for E³ 1.1 platform in MEB and MQB
- Coordination and lead of the evaluation of the technical feasibility of all brand requirements
- Ensuring cross-system technical concept maturity for systems and cross-sections
- Ensuring functional breakdown/chain creation of all functions and manage technical dependencies and interactions
- Ensuring the legally relevant scopes, product compliance, safety, security, open source, diagnostics, flashing, OTA and networking
- Identification of technical risks, e.g. with regard to hardware and software performance and resolution of technical conflicting goals
- Assessment of technical resource requirements as input for resource planning
- Completed studies in the field of (industrial) engineering, computer science, physics
or similar - 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry or in consulting especially in the field of architecture or cross-sectional functions
- Comprehensive expertise in software development or the creation of software-defined products
- Understanding of development processes ("classic" and "agile"), portfolio management and financial processes
- Strong problem-solving skills as well as communication skills in German and English
- Agile mindset and inclusive leadership approach
- Experience with budget process of Volkswagen Group
