What does the role involve?

As an engineer in the field of multibody simulation, you are modelling our complex power tools like breakers and impact drivers from a dynamic point of view. You are in close contact with our teams in the field of design, testing and measurement and thus ensure our high standards of innovation and robustness.
Your multibody simulation models are used in development and technology projects and support our systems engineering approach in product development as well.
In addition, you will lead technology projects in the field of simulation to ensure technical development and the extended usage of our methods in development at Hilti.

What you need is:

• 5-7 years of experience in the field of multibody simulation – ideally with the program packages Simpack and MATLAB/Simulink
• Completed degree (diploma, master, graduation) with theoretical background in numerical calculation methods or model-based product development
• Know-how in model validation using processed experimental data and the conception of experimental measurement campaigns
• First experience in project management is an advantage
• Convincing analytical and conceptual skills
• High goal-orientation and self-responsible working methods
• Strong team and communication abilities and German language skills advantageous
