The role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Architect to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust Business Intelligence solutions to meet the strategic data needs of our organization. The BI Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand business requirements, and develop scalable and sustainable data architecture to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

BI Strategy and Planning:

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs.
Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable project plans.

Data Architecture:

Design and implement end-to-end data warehouse architecture, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Oversee the development of data models, ETL processes, and data integration strategies.
Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to maintain data integrity and security.

BI Development:

Lead the development of interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality BI solutions that meet business requirements.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of BI applications.

Data Governance and Quality:

Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
Implement processes for data quality assurance and metadata management.
Work towards creating a data-driven culture within the organization.

Training and Support:

Provide training sessions for end-users on BI tools and best practices.
Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI applications.
Collaborate with the IT support team to address and resolve BI-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

-10 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
-Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
-Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and scripting languages.
-Experience with E-commerce data and metrics is a plus.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

-Strong understanding of storytelling, UI/UX design and relational data modeling

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.

-Experience in of Agile Scrum methodology.

-Familiarity with BI administration/architecture in Tableau and Power BI
