Product Supply Medical (PSM) as part of the Business Unit Health & Medical Solutions (HM) is responsible for the production of medical devices in compression, wound care and orthopedics. We have 14 productions sites and a global organization managing Quality, Supply Chain and global initiatives. With about 2.200 employees in Latam, US, Asia, Africa and Europe we are spread across the globe.
About the Role
As a business controller you will oversee the financial performance against predefined targets for a number of manufacturing sites across the globe within the Health and Medical Division. You will contribute to the monthly consolidation of the business unit financials (P&L, Balance sheet, cash flow) ensuring fiscal and legal compliance. Your role is to support and challenges the sites regarding financial performance, whilst helping improving systems and processes in the manufacturing sites. As business controller you will take part of a massive business transformation over the different manufacturing sites.
The position will report to the Senior business controller PSM and will be working closely with the site controllers
What You Will Do
Provide support for reviewing and analyzing results for Medical sites according to accounting standards and providing information to the stakeholders
Monitor and follow up of the respective performance of different manufacturing sites.
Support the local leadership teams on sites in all financial aspects
Being contributor in consolidation of all financials of manufacturing sites in unit Medical Product Supply
Collect relevant financial/operational data from various sources and generate ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management or stakeholders
Support and develop Capex process in sites and post review of capital expenditure in projects
Support of annual local budget and quarterly local forecasts process
Support the Budget and quarterly forecasts
Participate in long term financial planning of Business Unit Medical supply
Supporting the strategic direction of BU HMS by taking part in strategic projects in cross functional teams
Participate in the global controllers network of Business unit, e.g. to drive best practices within Finance and controlling
Support to secure data integrity of all relevant financial information and planning systems in the different manufacturing sites
Supporting to secure the financial controls on different manufacturing sites including all aspects of profit centre accounting and internal controls
Supporting in AP and TP Process across the manufacturing sites
Support the business transformation across the sites (automation; EWOW; MES; Power BI etc)

University degree or equivalent, preferably in BA, Economics or Finance
2-4 years of relevant workingexperience
Preferable relevant business/industry experience with Manufacturing and Controlling
Good knowledge about the business and understanding of the whole value chain
Good knowledge and experience with financial information, reporting and planning systems
Knowledge of Accounting Standards
Strong analytical skills and good strategic insight and ability
Strong verbal and written skills, able to communicate and influence on different levels
Ability to challenge the status quo
Fluent In English
Frequent business travel is required (10%-20%)
