The Senior Director position supports Ankura’s newly created EMEA Risk Forensics and Compliance practice (RF&C), which is one of seven business groups in Ankura. which has the ambition to be the clear market leader in its field. This role will focus particularly on engagements with Ankura’s Compliance Team based out of our Frankfurt office.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Compliance Senior Director (equivalent to Senior Manager). The Compliance Senior Director will preferably lead the development and implementation of Compliance Management Systems (CMS), conduct Compliance Risk Analyses (CRA) and play a crucial role in investigating potential compliance violations. We will consider remote working for candidates based outside of Frankfurt, but you must be based in Germany.

Responsibilities:

Developing & Integration of cutting-edge Compliance Management Systems that align with legal and regulatory requirements.

Assess business and operation risk and conduct Compliance Risk Analyses

Draft polices that align with legal and regulatory requirements,

Investigating of potential compliance violations as Case Manager

Create and perform compliance trainings.

Advise the clients senior management and compliance experts on legal/regulatory requirements and standards.

Manage risk through the engagement cycle. Adhere to the strictest standards of client and engagement confidentiality.

Manage compliance projects from initiation to closure, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management,
Requirements:

Manager / Senior Manager level experience gained in a Big 4/Mid-tier forensic firm.

You have successfully completed a degree in law.

You have experience at manager/ senior manager level in of industrial compliance including the implementation and development of dedicated Compliance Management Systems.

Good knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements and regulations; knowledge in antitrust law, criminal law, data protection and/or labour law is an advantage.

You are characterised by entrepreneurial thinking, structured and solution-oriented work, as well as strong communication skills and a confident manner.
