Your Role

Razor Group is offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring Industrial/Product Designers with a focus on 3D modeling, CAD modeling, rendering, and design for manufacturing. This internship will provide hands-on experience and the chance to work on real-world projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in creating detailed 3D models based on ideation sketches

• Supporting the development of CAD models for product designs

• Contributing to rendering high-quality images and visualizations of product designs

• Learning and applying design for manufacturing principles

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring designs to life

Your Profile

To succeed in this role you:

• Are currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

• Have basic experience in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender)

• Hold basic knowledge of CAD modeling

• Have familiarity with rendering software (e.g., KeyShot, V-Ray)

• Bring an understanding of design for manufacturing principles is a plus

• Hold a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Important: To be considered, please attach a portfolio showcasing relevant academic or personal projects!

If selected for the second stage, you will be provided with sketches and asked to create detailed 3D models based on these sketches. This will assess your ability to transform initial concepts into comprehensive 3D designs.
