WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Development of control software for robot systems
- Modeling of robot systems for control and simulation purposes
- Simulation of robots using real-time physics simulators
- Testing and verification of software
- Standardization of processes (software development, automated testing and packaging)
The position is also available on a part-time basis (32 hrs/week). WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Successfully completed master's degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Good programming skills in C++/Python
- Experience with robotics middleware like ROS and with simulation tools like Gazebo, CopelliaSim, ISAAC Sim, Algoryx, WeBots or similar desirable
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Independent, committed and team-oriented way of working
- High communication skills as well as innovative thinking, "maker" mentality with creativity and curiosity
