Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Create consumer-facing assortments per channel and store cluster based on financial assortment planning framework that will deliver on brand- and channel financial targets. Contribute to mid- to long term channel strategy and enhance the market range through assortment planning that reflects localization and differentiation where needed. Provide relevant input and feedback at key milestones to drive channel strategy and collaborate with activation teams to drive 360° approach by ensuring proper early on planning of channel go-to-market strategies and tools. Act as DTC ambassador and manage stakeholders needs across Europe and Global.

Key Responsibilities:

Create assortment plans per channel/segment tier based on financial/option planning framework
Foster an inclusive and divers working environment and be a catalyst of positive change
Implement the market store format strategy and store tiering methodologies to enable localization and differentiated ranges that are tailored to consumer needs (incl. seasonality)
Collaborate and align with channel teams on seasonal option and financial plans to maximize range efficiencies, commercial relevance and achieve financial targets
Design assortment packages based on Brand, customer/commercial needs acknowledging space requirements
Enable further streamlining of the market range based on horizontal, x-category reviews prior key seasonal milestones (e.g., SMM)
Submit RMA1 and RMA2 forecasts on time for the respective channels
Drive the channel ranging process (both Ecom and Own Retail/Franchise) including all stakeholders & categories taking into consideration all Global/Local milestones and feedback deliverables (One Brand Feedback Tracker)
Implement the seasonal Brand Collection balancing space constraints, consumer relevance and drive key stories together with strategic Brand priorities
Provide key seasonal input (quantitative and qualitative) to both market BUs and Global DTC/Digital Brand Commerce to drive product strategy decisions for future seasons
Handover to channel teams of assortment lists and visual product boards (DMT) together with structured walkthroughs of assortment strategy & plans at key seasonal milestones
Take specific actions to enhance the DTC business in the EMEA marketplace, influence market BUs and drive exponential growth across both channels (Ecom & Own Retail/Franchise)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Relevant job experience in an assortment planning /merchandising function, and fully qualified and trained
Combined broad theoretical and practical knowledge incl. company policies and practices
Strong competence with range assortment planning/merchandising, procedures and systems
Sophisticated presentation skills

Requisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualifications:

University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
Fluent in English
5 years of typical relevant work experience
